Lori loves to garden, rescue butterflies, bake and finds endless inspiration in the natural world, relationships, home and daily life.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a painter of pictures, stitcher of bears, nålbinder of mittens and lover of all creatures great through small. Animals have always factored heavily into my work and are dear to my heart. I find the human animal relationship an interesting and complex one. Much of my recent work involves the study of my home and the land on which it sits. The pandemic gave me an introspective opportunity to more closely observe and appreciate daily life and examine personal relationships.
