I started the art of stained glass in 1997 and in 2003 I starting working with traditional glass paints which are fired onto the stained glass. In 2008 I introduced the fusing of glass to create the colored glass canvases for my painted images. The fused glass base allows me to create stained glass panels with multiple colors without the use of lead came channels. For all my stained glass panels I initially create a finished pastel study before attempting the glass version of the idea. The themes, images and colors are all based on the beauty of the natural world around us.. Some of my glass art can be viewed at the Wah-sa Gallery at the Forks in Winnipeg. I'm open to commission work.
