Hedy Ciupak Gallery

Born in Winnipeg, Hedy grew up on a farm in Fraserwood. She loved to draw since she could hold a pencil and soon her doodles became quite realistic. She designed clothing from her first sewing project. Hedy joined the Gimli Art Club at age 15 where she took some watercolor lessons.

Her interest in building was sparked when asked by her dad to draw plans for their home addition. After High school she completed the Architectural Drafting course at Red River College. Then she worked at the Tan-Jay Nygard clothing factories in the design department. After marrying John, she is again on a farm- in Clandeboye. She designed their home, as well as several others. Rarely without a camera, Hedy loves to garden, explore nature, and travel. 150 albums later it was time to go digital J.
